Functions: provide strategic advice to the Steering Committee in matters such as the CCEMA workplan, and contribution to the promotion of the objectives of CCEMA. The CCEMA work programme will be discussed by the Advisory Group once a year.
Membership: Up to 15 non-permanent members holding three-year renewable membership and “representing” major CCEMA stakeholders from a diversity of constituencies. Triennially, the membership of the Advisory Group will be reviewed to reflect the evolving needs and priorities of the Alliance. The Advisory Group Chair will be elected by the membership of the Group. The non-permanent membership of the Advisory Group will be approved by the Steering Committee by consensus.
